Syracuse, N.Y. — A total of 18 schools in a six-county region of Central New York saw 90% or more of their students test proficient on English language arts Regents exams during the 2024-2025 school year, according to state data.
The top two schools in the region were New Hartford Senior High School in Oneida County and Weedsport Junior-Senior High School in Cayuga County. Both schools had proficiency levels of 96% on ELA Regents last year.
