ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Wanya Reginald Stone, 25, was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder and possession with intent to deliver cannabis after a shooting that took place on Benton Street on Tuesday.
According to court records, the victim suffered four gunshot wounds — to the hand, and graze wounds to the ear, leg, and right side — in a shooting that took place around 11:09 a.m. on June 23, in the 1600 block of Benton Street.
The 25-year-old victim told police he was out for a walk when he “heard gunfire and began to run.”…
