17 charged in Illinois healthcare fraud schemes, 4 with St. Louis ties

CHICAGO – The Illinois Attorney General’s Office has charged 17 individuals accused of defrauding Medicaid and other state programs, including four with St. Louis-area ties.

Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul says the charges are part of a coordinated, nationwide law enforcement operation that resulted in charges for 455 people nationwide.
