SPOKANE, Wash. — A new mural in downtown Spokane is set to honor musician Drey Davis, whose impact on the city’s music community is still being remembered three years after his death.
Davis was a percussionist with the Spokane Jazz Orchestra and was known as one of the area’s most sought-after musicians. He died in October 2023, just days after he was diagnosed with leukemia.
The mural is being painted on the building that houses Zola near Main and Division. A documentary about Davis is also in the works…
