Former owners of Owensboro restaurant file for bankruptcy

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A Louisville based company that owned and operated a restaurant in Owensboro until it permanently shut its doors earlier this year has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Ted Mitzlaff, the CEO and co-founder of Goodwood Brewing Company, LLC, declared bankruptcy earlier this week. In April, a judge ordered Mitzlaff and Peter McDermott to pay in the amount of $99,604.96, plus costs and attorney’s fees totaling $4,432.23 to Entertainment at the Enclave, LLC.

Court documents for the Louisville company estimate 100 to 200 creditors associated with the business, and assets and liabilities estimated between $1 million and $10 million. The documents also list pending bankruptcy cases for Goodwood Owensboro LLC…
