HONOLULU (Island News) — The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) is moving forward with its plans to explore the purchase of ABC affiliate KITV and multi-cultural independent station KIKU.
OHA trustees discussed Wednesday afternoon, June 24, the authorization of more than $172,000 to look into acquiring the stations. The acquisition would include hiring a third party to look into a financial review in two separate phases.
