York County restaurants scrambling for bread after bakery’s closure

The sudden closure of a southcentral Pennsylvania bakery this week has left many restaurants and stores in York County scrambling to find other sources of bread for sandwiches and meals.

Susan Myers, owner of Sue’s Market in Wrightsville, said she ordered rolls from Terranetti’s Italian Bakery on Monday to be delivered on Tuesday, but they never arrived. She contacted the company early Wednesday morning after hearing that it had closed and was informed that it is out of business.
