DeKalb County District Attorney Sherry Boston recently announced a conviction by jury trial in the case against a man accused of trafficking drugs out of his Ellenwood home.
On June 3, a jury found 41-year-old Vincent Denard Simon guilty on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking marijuana, and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony stemming from a drug investigation that culminated in the execution of a search warrant on Feb. 6, 2024.
According to agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), authorities learned Simon was selling drugs out of a house on Ward Lake Way in Ellenwood. After completing controlled buys of drugs from Simon, agents obtained a search warrant for his home…
