SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Fire Department found a body responding to a fire on South State Street on Thursday morning.
The fire department responded to the fire at 2407 South St. around 9:17 a.m. Crews immediately encountered heavy smoke and fire. Reports indicated that a person was trapped on the second floor.
