Greeley Stampede Roars to Life With Big-Name Concerts and Rodeo Thrills

The 104th annual Greeley Stampede is officially underway, opening Wednesday, June 24, at Island Grove Regional Park and running through Sunday, July 5. The festival blends PRCA rodeo competition, carnival rides, parades, and a five-night SuperStars arena concert series headlined by Nelly, Brothers Osborne, Jake Owen, Nate Smith, and Dierks Bentley.

The SuperStars arena series features Nelly with Graham Barham on June 26, Brothers Osborne with Dylan Scott on June 27, Jake Owen with Dasha on June 28, Nate Smith with Chase Matthew on July 2, and Dierks Bentley on July 3, according to Visit Greeley. Most arena shows begin at 8 p.m., and concert tickets typically include park admission so fans can hit the midway and other Stampede attractions the same night.

Where To Go And How To Buy Tickets

Events are staged at Island Grove Regional Park, and the Stampede provides driving directions and maps on its site and at the park. For tickets and multi-show packages, organizers steer fans to the event’s official vendor, and buying directly from the Stampede ticket portal is promoted as the safest way to avoid scalpers and scams, per the Greeley Stampede.

Rodeo And Family Attractions

Beyond the headlining concerts, the Stampede schedule packs in PRCA ProRodeo performances, Xtreme Bulls, American Bull Fighting, and a demolition derby, alongside family programming such as the Kids Korral and free-stage shows, as outlined by Visit Greeley. Special community nights like Military Appreciation and Stampede Out Cancer layer in local pride and charity tie-ins throughout the run.

Kickoff Parade And What To Expect

Downtown’s Longhorn Drive officially kicked off the celebration on June 24, and the 12-day run is billed as one of Northern Colorado’s biggest summer draws, according to North Forty News. Organizers and city departments are urging attendees to plan for crowds, follow the clear-bag policy, and build in extra time for security screening at entrances.

Gov. Jared Polis shared a Facebook post on June 25 spotlighting the Stampede’s concert lineup and family events, and that post is embedded above for reference. For current schedules, parking maps, and safety notices, visitors are directed to the Island Grove pages on the City of Greeley site, along with the Stampede’s official ticket portal…
