Growing up in Northern Colorado, especially in the 90s, was just magical. It was safe, so we were allowed to roam a little more, and things were cheap, which meant we could do more activities.
But there are three things I think every kid did if they grew up in Northern Colorado.
Fort Ram
The only biker bar/family-fun restaurant in FOCO, Fort Ram, seems almost like a dream from my childhood. Was it even real? The food was sub-par, and the clientele was questionable, but it was still somehow amazing, and it had a huge dance floor.
Fort Ram was also known for its great food and drink menu and specials, including penny beer night, which always brought in the CSU students…
