SEATTLE — The City of Seattle is expanding a series of temporary street closures along Aurora Avenue North as part of a coordinated effort to improve public safety and disrupt illegal activity in the area.
The latest closures will be installed this week at North 96th Street, North 98th Street, North 100th Street, and North 102nd Street.
The closures follow an announcement earlier this month by Mayor Katie Wilson outlining temporary traffic changes aimed at reducing dangerous cut-through traffic on the west side of the Aurora Avenue North corridor.
