Feds: Brooklyn Man Charge In Rape Of 14-Year-Old

A federal grand jury returned an indictment today charging a Brooklyn, New York, man with coercion and enticement of a minor and for traveling to Delaware to rape his victim.

According to court documents, Claude Lennon, 24, communicated with a 14-year-old victim via an online messaging platform and engaged in sexually-charged conversations. Through those conversations, Lennon learned the victim’s age and nevertheless arranged to meet the victim in Wilmington, Delaware. Lennon then traveled by train from New York to Wilmington and took an Uber to an agreed-upon location, after which Lennon and the victim engaged in sexual conduct constituting rape in the fourth degree under Delaware law officials said. Lennon also brought condoms with him and provided the victim with approximately $80 and marijuana edibles…
