Dayton, Ohio – A Montgomery County grand jury has returned an indictment against a man accused of seriously injuring a person who attempted to intervene in what appeared to be a domestic violence incident in Harrison Township last year.
Deshan Fisher was indicted on June 24, 2026, after an extensive investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit. Investigators used witness statements, surveillance video, follow-up interviews, and DNA evidence to identify Fisher as the suspect in the October 2025 incident.
According to investigators, the case began shortly before 1 a.m. on October 5, 2025. At approximately 12:54 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 4100 block of North Main Street after receiving a report that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
