Grammy-nominated producer Tay Keith remembered at Raleigh vigil

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Friends and family gathered Thursday night in Raleigh to remember Grammy-nominated music producer Tay Keith, who was found dead in his Nashville apartment on June 18 at age 29.

Brytavious LaKeith Chambers, known professionally as Tay Keith, grew up in Raleigh and created a new sound with childhood friend BlocBoy JB while still a teenager.

Thursday’s vigil was held near his childhood home.

“We thank each and every one of you for being out here,” his uncle Deon Conway said while addressing the crowd.
