(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento County Grand Jury released a report Thursday that found the Sacramento Community Police Review Commission ineffective in its goal to improve policing.
The civil review group, after an eight-month investigation, said the commission obscures the Sacramento Police Department’s activities rather than improving transparency. Members of the department told the grand jury that the commission has failed to function properly, according to the report.
