MONTICELLO, Fla. (WCTV) – The Jefferson County Animal Control director has resigned just a little over four months after taking the job, and now animal advocates are raising concerns about what comes next.
Jefferson County Manager Douglas Baber told WCTV that Cassie Griesheimer resigned on Wednesday for personal reasons. He said the county appreciates her service and wishes her the best as it begins the search for a new director.
