PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police say a suspect has been taken into custody after an incident that led to an hours-long closure of a central Phoenix roadway on Friday.
Just before 8 a.m. Phoenix police responded to reports of possible shots fired at an apartment complex near 15th Avenue and Indian School Road. Soon after, officers shut down Indian School in both directions at 15th Avenue.
Video from the scene showed an open apartment door and a broken window as additional officers, including tactical units, arrived in the area. Crime scene tape was also placed across a large area.
