DALTON, Ga. — A flood of tips from the community helped authorities rescue several dogs found in small cages outside a Dalton Walmart and led to one man’s arrest.
The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office says deputies and Dalton police launched an investigation after a Facebook post showing the dogs outside the Walmart on Shugart Road spread rapidly online.
