WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (WGHP) — Tragedy struck in Winston-Salem when a 2-year-old child drowned, according to the Winston-Salem Fire Department.
At about 3:08 p.m. on Friday, Winston-Salem firefighters responded to a medical emergency on the 4000 block of Northampton Drive.
At the scene, they found a 2-year-old who had drowned. Crews tried to save the child’s life, but they ultimately died…
