DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A Toccoa man is one of two people arrested in a multi-agency investigation targeting a major Mexican-based drug trafficking organization believed to be a primary source of methamphetamine in North Georgia.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced Friday that 34-year-old Malcolm Stephens of Toccoa and 32-year-old Carrizal Humberto of California are each charged with trafficking methamphetamine. Investigators said they seized about 90 pounds of suspected methamphetamine during the operation, which ended June 23 in Atlanta.
