RIO RANCHO — An attorney for Rio Rancho Public Schools has been nominated to fill the Rio Rancho Governing Body seat vacated by Mayor Paul Wymer.
David Mann, general counsel for RRPS since 2022, was named by Wymer during Thursday’s council meeting as his choice to occupy his former District 4 seat, which can only be filled by a vote of the governing body. Members are expected to consider Mann’s nomination and vote on it at the July 23 council meeting, according to Wymer.
