Teen injured in drive-by shooting outside Seattle community center

SEATTLE — A 15-year-old boy was injured in a drive-by shooting outside a Seattle community center Friday night, according to the Seattle Police Department.

Police said officers assigned to the South Precinct heard gunfire at about 8:53 p.m. from across the street at the Van Asselt Community Center.

Responding officers found the teen suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder and a graze wound to the cheek. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition, police said…
