Isabella Wayne Waits Out Weather to be Crowned Miss Western Kentucky State Fair

Isabella Wayne was crowned the winner of the Miss Western Kentucky State Fair pageant, which featured a delay caused by a pair of tornado warnings that moved through Christian County on Saturday night.

Right after Wayne completed her display for the judges in the opening swimsuit competition, fair officials put a halt to the pageant at the convention center so that it could be used as a shelter for fair-goers during the storm warnings.

After an hour-long delay, the pageant resumed, and Wayne was later named the winner. She said the delay allowed the pageant contestants to bond for a bit while waiting out the storm…
