SHREVEPORT, La. – Community members gathered Saturday at Galilee Eden Gardens to honor the legacy of the late Pastor E. Edward Jones by expanding the community garden he helped inspire.
Volunteers planted herbs, spices and other edible plants as part of an effort to continue Jones’ longtime commitment to serving the community and providing fresh food to those in need.
