EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — For nearly a half century, Abundant Church has been serving families in the Borderland.
The church displayed that same can-do spirit and attitude on Sunday, June 28 when it held a Mega Food Giveaway at its church in El Paso’s Lower Valley.
Organizers served about 2,000 people with essential non-perishable food items, including canned goods, pasta, snacks and drinks.
For nearly 50 years, Abundant Church has served families across the Borderplex through practical acts of compassion, including annual Thanksgiving food distributions, Christmas toy and food giveaways, backpack giveaways, and year-round outreach efforts, the church said…
