Today is our last refreshing day before the hottest air of the year arrives.
The sea breeze will cap our temperatures up and down the coast to the upper 70s. It’s a mainly sunny day for most. But at the coast, at times, low clouds will hang around.
By Tuesday, we start pulling up hot air from the southwest. Our temperatures soar to either side of 90 degrees under hot sunshine. There’s the threat of overnight storms Tuesday into Wednesday.
The heat is on by Wednesday afternoon with temperatures in the mid-90s under sunny skies. The wind remains out of the southwest.
The winds turn more westerly on Thursday and Friday. That’s a hot and dry wind that’ll heat us up to about 100 degrees…
