Spartanburg Art Museum will begin its Creating with Clay! summer class for students ages 11 to 18 on Monday, June 29.
The four-session class meets from 1 to 4 p.m. June 29 through July 2 at Spartanburg Art Museum. Instructor Cathie Layton will lead campers through clay hand-building fundamentals, including pinch, coil and slab techniques. Students will also customize their work with texturing tools, glazes and paint.
