SOUTH WINDSOR — Twenty-eight credit cards registered under various names were recovered during an investigation into shoplifting and the fraudulent use of the cards Sunday, police in South Windsor said.
Officers responded to the Costco on Tamarack Avenue around 3:53 p.m. Sunday for the report, according to South Windsor police. The caller reported the two suspects trying to use self-checkout with the cards, police added.
Employees also reported to authorities that both suspects “had just attempted the same thing at Costco in Enfield,” police said…
