Walnut Creek’s already packed dessert scene is about to get yes, another ice cream place!
A new ice cream shop called Milky Flakes is preparing to open at 1399 N. Main Street in downtown Walnut Creek, taking over the former A-1 Shoe & Luggage Repair space.
The forthcoming shop has been something of a mystery for months. We at the Bay Area Telegraph were the first to break the story about Milky Flakes last year, using local permit records and info posted on the storefront to at least track down the name.
A building permit suggested that this would be an ice cream place. But past that, we knew very little. Now, that little tidbit is confirmed, as Milky Flakes officially has an Instagram…
