SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Sarasota County Fire Department and Florida Forestry Service crews working two significant brush fires say the blazes are now mostly contained.
Crews were monitoring the situation as stormed rolled in, Sarasota County Emergency Series reported over the weekend.
Residents may continue to see smoke in the following areas:
- Along I-75 near Mile Marker 204 (Clark Road), near the Grand Park subdivision.
- Near the T. Mabry Carlton Jr. Memorial Reserve in Venice.
