Teen driver dies in head-on crash with converted school bus near Port Orford

PORT ORFORD, Ore. — A head-on crash on Highway 101 near Port Orford left an 18-year-old Washington driver dead and sent three passengers to the hospital Friday morning, Oregon State Police said.

OSP responded at about 8:20 a.m. on June 26 to a two-vehicle fatal crash on Highway 101 near milepost 312 in Curry County.

Police said a black Chrysler Pacifica, driven northbound by Luke Anree May Dizon, 18, of Covington, Washington, drifted into the oncoming lane and collided head-on with a small school bus that had been converted into a motorhome.
