PennDOT maintenance crews started work on more than a dozen roads across Lehigh County on June 29, with projects ranging from drainage improvements to crack sealing and a significant ramp reopening in South Whitehall Township, according to a traffic advisory from the agency.
The most disruptive work will occur July 1-2 on Old Post Road in North Whitehall and Washington townships, where the roadway between Route 329 and Route 873 will be closed for pothole patching. Motorists should follow posted detours during the closure, which will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
