Suspect Arrested in Connection with Series of Commercial Burglaries Across San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — On April 26, 2026, at approximately 5:08 a.m., San Francisco Police Department officers responded to a report of a burglary at a business located on the 1200 block of 9th Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they observed physical damage to the front door of the establishment. An initial walk-through of the property revealed that the business safe had been opened and rummaged through, and that cash from inside the safe, along with one of the cash registers, had been taken.

The SFPD Burglary Unit took over the investigation and subsequently identified 40 year old, San Francisco resident, Maria Campbell as the suspect, obtaining an arrest warrant based on probable cause. Investigators also linked Campbell to multiple other burglaries that occurred across San Francisco.
