H-E-B has purchased 44 acres of undeveloped land along Interstate 35 in north San Marcos, and has drawn up a site plan for a potential supermarket there.
The San Antonio-based grocery chain bought the land, at I-35 and Yarrington Road, in March for an undisclosed price from entities linked to Austin real estate investor Robert W. McDonald, Hays County property records show.
