AUSTIN, Texas — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying three suspects who robbed a Central Austin 7-Eleven and tackled a store clerk in the early morning hours of May 31, according to the Austin Police Department.
The robbery occurred around 2:50 a.m. at the 7-Eleven located at 411 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Three suspects entered the store, stole alcohol and attempted to leave. When a clerk tried to intervene, he was “violently tackled” and suffered significant injuries, police said.
The first suspect is described as a white male, medium build, between 18 and 25 years old. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt with the word “Gutwrench,” a chain necklace and a wallet chain in his right pants pocket…
