Chef Don Bergeron, a Donaldsonville native, has been recognized as Best Local Chef and his business, Bergeron’s City Market, has been named Best Caterer for the tenth time in the 2026 Best of 225 Awards.
Announced June 25, the recognition marks a milestone for Bergeron, as he received the Best Local Chef honor for the first time, according to a news release.
