A bowling alley and lounge has opened inside Bally’s Baton Rouge Casino, and folks can order fare from an oyster bar and pizzeria while rolling strikes at Pelican Pins.
Tucked around a corner inside the Bally’s Baton Rouge dining depot is a site some wouldn’t expect: A two-lane bowling alley that casino-goers can rent by the hour. Customers can order dishes from Shucks Oyster Bar and Hearth Pizzeria, and servers will bring the food right to their table next to the pins.
Inside Pelican Pins, candlelit tables, chandeliers and red velvet curtains give an elevated feel. One neon sign on an exposed brick wall reads Pelican Pins in blue and purple, another right above the pins reads “laissez les bons temps rouler” in red.
