A newly opened Longmont affordable housing development designed for working families has received one of Colorado’s highest housing honors, highlighting a project city officials hope will become a model for future mixed-income developments.
Housing Colorado recognized Ascent at Hover Crossing with a 2026 Eagle Award, honoring projects that demonstrate leadership in affordable housing, and supportive community development. The 75-unit community combines income-restricted housing, on-site early childhood education, renewable energy features, and family-focused amenities.
