ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Alaska Botanical Garden marked International Mud Day on Monday by transforming part of its property into a mud play area for children and families.
The garden has hosted the annual event for several years. Organizers said the purpose of Mud Day is to honor the Earth and educate the public on the importance of mud and soil.
