New Greensboro police chief works to identify crime hot spots on east side of city

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — Greensboro’s new police chief is working to identify hot spots for crime, and he has his eye on the east side of Greensboro.

People living along the Summit Avenue corridor have been reaching out to the city and the police for help after seeing public drug use, an influx of the unhoused and more traffic crime.
