Golf tournament to benefit injured Chesterfield officers

CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) – A golf tournament later this summer will support two officers injured in a shooting in May.

“On August 25, our community will come together for a special day of golf in support of Officers Clark and Wells and their families as they continue their road to recovery following the recent officer-involved shooting,” the Chesterfield Police Department said in a social media post.

  • $500 per team (limited to 28 teams)

“This tournament is an opportunity to stand beside two of our own and show that no officer faces hardship alone,” police said.
