EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — A well-known El Paso boxing family will take center stage this 4th of July as the Han family has been selected as parade marshals for the 28th Annual Rotary Independence Day Parade.
The Han family is a prominent boxing family in the borderland, led by their father and trainer, Bae Hyun Han, who ran a local martial arts academy and introduced the family to combat sports. Siblings Jennifer and Stephanie Han have both reached the top levels of the sport, with Jennifer a former IBF World Featherweight Champion and Stephanie holding a WBA lightweight title.
