More than six years after the only I-25 rest stops between Pueblo and Fort Collins closed, the Colorado Department of Transportation is preparing to build a new rest area and is seeking the public’s input on the plans.
CDOT is designing a new rest stop west of I-25 at the Purcell Boulevard exit (Exit 108) that will accommodate northbound and southbound motorists. It’s part of an overarching project to reconstruct the Exit 108 interchange “to improve safety and mobility while accommodating projected traffic volumes,” according to CDOT.
