A Carbon County man is accused of shooting someone he was arguing with.
According to the criminal complaint, Pennsylvania State Police troopers were dispatched to a residence on Lakeside Drive in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, on the morning of June 28 for a reported shooting. The incident was called in by David W. Munro, 44, of Mahoning Township, who said that he shot the victim during a dispute, the complaint said. The victim was discovered on a patio chair with a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.
Police spoke to Munro, the victim, the victim’s wife, their son and another witness. According to the complaint, Munro and the victim’s wife were together on the evening of June 27. The victim and their son tried to contact the victim’s wife throughout the night and drove to Munro’s residence to try to find her.
