FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Five people who all attended Fresno’s Bullard High School were indicted for allegedly participating in a years-long firearms trafficking conspiracy, the Department of Justice announced Tuesday.
On June 25, a grand jury returned a four-count indictment charging 21-year-old Harman Pahal, 20-year-old Cameron Chouansmasy, 21-year-old Colton Malone, 20-year-old Julian Calderon, and 20-year-old Jaskarn Batth.
All defendants entered pleas of not guilty on Monday.
According to the DOJ, the indictment alleged that the defendants, who met while attending Bullard High, used social media to advertise and sell firearms and repeatedly traveled from Fresno to Texas to obtain additional weapons for resale.
