WEST OLIVE, Mich. — Consumers Energy is seeking to drill and operate two “non-hazardous waste disposal wells” near the J.H. Campbell coal-fired power plant in Ottawa County.
The utility company has submitted applications to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy’s (EGLE) Geologic Resources Management Division (GRMD) for the permits.
