PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A Dave & Buster’s employee is being credited with quick action after police said she found a man asleep behind the wheel of a running vehicle early Monday morning.
According to the Port St. Lucie Police Department, officers responded just after 12:40 a.m. to the Dave & Buster’s parking lot after an employee noticed a driver who appeared to be unconscious inside a running vehicle.
Police said the employee checked on the man because she was concerned for his well-being. The driver then suddenly woke up, became belligerent and began acting erratically, prompting the employee to call 911…
