GATES, N.Y. — A former Wegmans employee convicted for a deadly shooting at the Wegmans warehouse was sentenced to prison Tuesday morning.
Kyshonn Green was sentenced 23 years to life in prison. A jury convicted Green in May of second-degree murder in the death of his coworker, J’Mere Ridley Smith.
Police say Green shot and killed Ridley Smith during an argument at the warehouse last July. Green took off shortly after the shooting but was arrested in Tennessee by U.S. Marshals and brought back to Rochester…
