Suspect wanted for stealing $3,000 in food, drinks from vending machine in Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department is requesting the public’s help in finding a person who stole over $3,000 in snacks and drinks from a vending machine on Virginia Commonwealth University’s (VCU) MCV campus.

On Tuesday, June 30, RPD shared on social media that it was searching for a suspect who was seen entering a residential building in the 1200 block of East Clay Street on June 5, 11 and 17.

Officials said the suspect broke into a vending machine and stole over $3,000 worth of snacks and drinks. A person of interest whom detectives would like to speak with is posted below:
